I see myself as a bit of a Geek of the web, I’ll have a go at anything if I find it interesting. Generally, I stumble on to something and then proceed to follow it up by finding a book about it or an online tutorial via a blog or YouTube.

Everything I have learned is self-taught, going at my own pace, and I never stop learning. I’m not a great learner face to face, I prefer to just learn by myself in my own time rather than sit in front of a class, anyone that knows me knows I didn’t do very well at school.

This is the way its been since 1997 when I acquired my first home pc and started surfing the Internet. I actually got on the Internet much earlier via a Phillips CD-I system in around 1995 that my Dad bought me. Previously as a child, I had a C64, Atari ST, MegaDrive, SuperNes, Atari Lynx, Atari jaguar! Dreamcast, N64, PS4. I was and still am a lover of consoles and games, always been awful at playing them though!

I made my first webpage in 1998 using FrontPage, and from then on, I was hooked.
